BBNaija Season 11 Finale: Nine Finalists Battled for ₦160m as Temi Nkem Won

Big Brother Naija Season 11 came to a dramatic close on Sunday, October 4, with nine finalists competing for the ultimate prize before Temi Nkem emerged as the winner of the “Show Ya Sef” edition.

The finale brought an end to 70 days of nominations, evictions, tasks, alliances, relationships, arguments and twists inside Biggie’s house.

Temi eventually defeated Aikou and Sheba in the final stage to claim the ₦160 million prize package. She secured 25.87 per cent of the final votes, while Aikou finished as the first runner-up with 23.68 per cent. Sheba placed third with 9.80 per cent.

Nine Housemates Entered the Final Night

The finale began with nine housemates still hoping to become the next BBNaija winner.

They were Temi Nkem, Aikou, Sheba, Flora, Ricky, Oyin, Barry, Tram and Bluethopia.

Their journey to the final night had already separated them from the original 24 contestants who entered the competition.

However, reaching the finale was only the beginning of the biggest test.

The housemates still had to survive the final round of evictions before the winner could be determined.

The Finale Quickly Became an Eviction Marathon

Rather than keeping all nine finalists until the final announcement, Big Brother revealed their results one after another.

Barry was the first finalist to leave, followed by Oyin, Ricky and Flora.

Tram then exited in fifth place, while Bluethopia finished as the third runner-up.

That left three housemates standing: Temi Nkem, Aikou and Sheba.

The final three then made their way to the stage, creating a notable moment in the show’s history.

According to Africa Magic, it was the first time the show had its Top Three finalists make the walk to the finale stage together rather than following the traditional Top Two format.

Temi Nkem Takes the Crown

When Ebuka Obi-Uchendu finally announced the winner, it was Temi Nkem whose name came out on top.

The 21-year-old secured 25.87 per cent of the final votes.

Aikou came close behind with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba finished third with 9.80 per cent.

Temi’s victory brought an end to a season in which her personality, diary-room moments and interactions with other housemates repeatedly put her among the major talking points.

Her win also placed her in the history books as the fifth female winner of Big Brother Naija, following Mercy Eke, Phyna, Ilebaye and Imisi.

What Temi Actually Won

The headline prize was valued at ₦160 million.

The package included ₦90 million in cash, a brand-new SUV and additional sponsored prizes. The cash component was adjusted after ₦10 million was allocated to the season’s Most Influential Player of the Week fund.

The prize presentation took place on October 6, two days after Temi’s victory.

At the ceremony, she officially received the SUV and ₦90 million cash component of her prize.

A Season Filled With Twists

Season 11 did not follow a completely predictable route.

The “Show Ya Sef” edition featured 24 housemates and introduced several twists during its 70-day run.

There were nominations, Head of House competitions, BB Bucks drama and a fake eviction twist involving some of the eventual finalists.

The season also recorded two disqualifications and a voluntary exit, making it the first BBNaija season to record all three forms of departure in one edition, according to BellaNaija.

That made the final nine even more significant because they had survived a competition that constantly changed around them.

The Final Vote Tells Its Own Story

Temi’s victory was not an overwhelming landslide.

Her 25.87 per cent was only slightly ahead of Aikou’s 23.68 per cent.

The difference between the two finalists was just 2.19 percentage points.

That narrow margin makes the final result particularly interesting for BBNaija followers.

While Temi ultimately took the crown, Aikou’s vote share shows how competitive the final contest became.

Sheba’s 9.80 per cent placed her behind the leading pair, but she still secured a podium finish after surviving the long season.

The BBNaija House Is Finally Quiet

After 70 days, the arguments, alliances, romance, tasks and eviction nights have come to an end.

The final nine became the last contestants standing, but only three reached the closing stage.

And ultimately, Temi Nkem had the highest vote count when it mattered most.

Her ₦160 million victory now closes the “Show Ya Sef” chapter, while the attention shifts to what the former housemates will do with the fame they gained from the reality show.

For Temi, however, the next chapter has already begun — this time outside Biggie’s house and with the BBNaija crown officially hers.
